I am a visual person. I am an artist.
I want to share my art images, whether they are in writing or in the form of drawings, paintings, sculpture, carving, or simply web content.
This is a friendly reminder that the images are mine, and they may not be hacked, lifted, stolen, reworked, copied and re-posted, or anything like these things without my express permission.
Images and content NOT originally created by me will be identified in my posts and blogs, and attributed to their creator and used by permission. A good example is my Silk Purse Logo, that Van Gogh-esque Earless Pig with a silk purse in her hand. That was paid for by me, and permitted on paper by the artist Tim Shepard, many years ago. I still have documentation, and I still make an effort to attribute the work to him, including including his copyright mark on each image I use.
Let's celebrate open source web content by really observing protocol when enjoying people's various postings.
